The tastings are generous, offering a wide variety of options. Be cautious with the Prone, which has an alcohol content of 14.5%—it's definitely strong! The seltzers are also quite potent at 8%, making them stronger than those from many other breweries. The service is excellent, and the ambiance is great. They have live music on certain nights, adding to the overall experience. Don't miss out on the fantastic food truck serving the best fish tacos!

What a fantastic place! The teamwork among the staff is remarkable, and they genuinely strive to ensure that everyone has a great experience. The brand was exceptionally welcoming, making me feel right at home after visiting some lackluster tourist spots. While I didn’t interact with all the staff members, those I did meet were incredibly helpful. I received regular samples from them without even asking, which made me eager to buy some beers to take home. The taco truck food is top-notch—far better than a fancy tourist restaurant I tried, and at a much better price. I have a love for Monterey's history and literature, but sometimes tourist offerings can disappoint. That's why I highly recommend Dust Bowl for anyone visiting Monterey who wants to avoid tourist traps and find an authentic place with genuine people. It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy a good time, and sip on excellent drinks. Well done!

This is a fantastic place! They only serve beer, but there are so many different types to choose from. The atmosphere is beautiful and friendly, making it a highly recommended spot. While they don't serve food themselves, there's an excellent food van right next door, and you're welcome to bring food from there into the bar.

We have passed this place so many times and finally got the opportunity to visit. It's an awesome, chill place to just relax and enjoy the company of whomever you are with. When you get to the entrance you are greeted and seated, with indoor and outdoor options available. We sat outside and we had our dogs with us. The person who greeted us was so friendly and gave each of the pups a treat (and snuck in some head pats and more treats as he passed through seating others). We sat in big comfortable Adirondack chairs and were promptly offered something to drink. They have an excellent beer menu, with some seltzers and they also offer water. You can also purchase packs of their product (canned) to take with you. I do wish there was cider but the beer the server suggested was excellent. Our server was friendly and honestly so good at her job, handling multiple parties and never letting your drink go empty before checking on you again. The service was fast and excellent. Dust Bowl doesn't technically serve food but there is a taco truck on site. We did not get any food but saw others with food and it looked and smelled really good. We can't wait to come back, hopefully we will get to see the place in the evening when the fire pits are going and the string lights are on. Such a good vibe.
