Excellent Chana Masala : very good cooking and spicy. Great garlic naans too.

Chai and mulligatawny soup were tasty, and it went downhill from there. The paneer tikka was made by someone who’s never tasted or even seen the real thing. Big chunks of unseasoned paneer were on a sizzling platter with a chunky canned tomato sauce poured over it. Naan was uniformly undercooked with raw dough inside. Dal Bukhara had undercooked lentils and absolutely no flavor or salt. Shahi paneer was watery and flavorless.Multiple waiters asked if we needed boxes but didn’t care why the food wasn’t touched. Avoid.

Pretty good food. But I found a super long black hair in my curry which is weird because I'm a blonde with short hair. I kindly explained what happened to the waiter and asked for a replacement. He didn't apologize but brought me a new dish. Then added it to my bill. So that was a cool experience.

I really like this restaurant. The food is delicious and the decor/atmosphere are also great. A must visit in Monterey.

Usually good but tonight seated us within view of a dirty mop bucket and a rat poison trap noticed during our dinner. Pointed this out tothe manager who apologized but did not take it away. Also, no deduction on our bill or coupon, which would have been kind
