They really know... read more We stopped at this restaurant enroute Pienze for lunch and boy what a great meal we had. Language was no barrier when it comes to hospitality. They really know to take care of their customers and the ingredients used were very fresh especially the pork chops. Given an opportunity will return in a jiffy

The restaurant was not crowded but no one seemed able or willing to h... read more My husband and I stopped at Da Roland with our adult children for a midday meal last week. The restaurant was not crowded but no one seemed able or willing to help us be seated. Once we made our way to a table it was another fifteen to twenty minutes before we were acknowledged in any way. At that point the waitress gave us menus with out so much as a hello, welcome, apology for your wait, nothing! We waited another fifteen to twenty minutes for her return with the same response. The other tables in the restaurant appeared to be mostly working men whom she waited upon lavishly. While the food wasn't bad it certainly didn't make up for the terrible service. With all the wonderful restaurants available, I would never recommend this one to anyone.
