This restaurant is a fantastic place to kick off a new adventure! We tried the 2 cheddar burritos and they were absolutely amazing. The fact that they included salsa in the bag was a nice touch. In addition to the burritos, we also indulged in a cinnamon roll and a pumpkin empanada. The burritos were satisfying and later in the day, we enjoyed the baked goods. What Deja Ocana doesn't like about Don Tomas Bakery:
We arrived for lunch at 11:30 and waited for an hour for two orders of huevos rancheros. When our order finally arrived, it was disappointing - just two soggy corn tortillas, two hard eggs, and some beans. There was no cheese or chili included. I could have easily made a better version at home in less time. We will not be returning to this restaurant. View all feedback.
Really nice people and good wholesome food. We had an omelet and a breakfast quesadilla. Both were great. Grabbed a cinnamon roll and an empanada for the road. We will definitely stop here next time we are passing through Monte Vista.
Wow! Amazing! Please support this business! The food was fast and delicious and the staff was so incredibly nice! They went beyond and beyond to make my little girls feel special We are from Miami and met another pair from Boston that say they are often visiting and have never been disappointed! I will definitely go back! FYI Donuts are also amazing and you need to try one of these bread things that I have a photo of, they are incredibly delicious all else consumed to photograph quickly, just go!

Deli turkey sandwich on a warm bun is so good. Drinks are very pricey but food is good.
Very nice local breakfast place! Delicious fresh food and great service. Big coffee! A wonderful small town bakery and cafe. We tried the big sugar donuts (my favorite) and Nabeby had the Bacon, Egg, Cheese Croissant Sandwich. Everything was delish! They also offer full breakfast and daily specialties. Many options are safe. It was a local favorite! In any case it will be!!
