I went for the first time today because someone had recommended it to me. was waiting on 2 other people and they seated me at a nice table by the window. first the host/owner grabbed a chair from my table, smiling and saying he was just going to grab achair. that was totally fine as there were 5 chairs and i only needed 3, though i felt it would?ve been kinder to ask ratherthan inform me. a mom with two kids came in and decided to play interior design simulator, moving tables around and eventuallydecided it wasn?t good enough and she wanted my table. the hostess/owners asked me to move, which i thought was so rude andunprofessional. they wouldn?t have felt entitled to do that if the rest of my party had arrived, but because i was alone theymoved me to the center of the restaurant. their explanation was that she had a larger party coming in so they needed to merge mytable with a smaller one, but honestly they could have very well merged the smaller table with the table in the center that theymoved me to. they were exactly the same size, she just didn?t want to sit there. i sat at the new table with my back against thewall and the owners started teasing me about sitting in the back and asked if i wouldn?t be more comfortable sitting in one ofthe other seats. i would have been more comfortable if you didn?t make me move tables unnecessarily! i just paid for my drinkand left, the weird cheekiness of the owners was just patronizing and strange. if you feel the need to crack jokes to lightenthe mood of what you?re doing, maybe just don?t do it.

Came for a late lunch with my kids and the staff seemed annoyed that we came. The food was subpar at best, I ordered the mozzarella caprese and what came was a few very thin slices of ?homemade? mozzarella that was rubbery and bland but moreimportantly made my stomach feel weird immediately. My sons chicken was over fried with old oil, he could barely bite it. In myopinion the only thing worth ordering is the pizza and honestly I think there are better places in Montclair to get pizza from.

Was there for a repast. There was bread-salad-calamari (not for me-not a fish eater). 4 or 5 entrees to choose from. I had chicken parmigiana with pasta. It was delicious and the portions are very generous. However our waitress could have been morepleasant

We celebrated our granddaughters performance from Montclair College at Leone"s, thanks to our children Anna Robert! The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. We met the owner, Michael and he couldn't have been more cordial. He suppliedadditional food as complementary, again Excellent! I would recommend anyone to experience Leone's!!!

This was honestly the oddest night I 've had in a while. Went here with my husband for a special date. We were say in a secluded corner in front of what was supposed to be an emergency exit and next to their stock of extra chairs. Apparently the waitressesdon 't get breaks because ours was telling us that she was starving and that she hadn 't eaten at all yet because there 's notime . We were told that we had to put our entire order in at once and we 'd get what we got in the order that the kitchen couldfire it. We luckily got our food in order of what we would 've ordered it had we not been told we couldn 't. The food was ok .Seems to be a spot that locals enjoy. Also saw a waitress actively drop a piece of my husband 's food, threw the piece that fellback onto the plate with a bunch of napkins, then we were brought a plate with no napkins and missing a piece of chicken.Kitchen said they 'd send out a new piece in a few. Where did this plate come from without the extra piece of chicken? Superstrange.
