A beautiful view of the valley that looks at the horobia and the sondrio. immediately after S.Maria in the mountain town the farm welcomes you in a small place for about 15 interiors and a pleasant outdoor space. home cooking, wine sketch and so much sympathy. philosophy is to accept how much the local decided to cook. almost never misses crushed and sliced. the first always varies: risotto? Spetzli? Sprinklers? Who knows? a second with meat that satisfies the most demanding palates, from ribs to stracotto. a simple polenta, or taragna, a cropa or almost. leave the fantasy to the cooks. there are sweets, water, wine, liqueurs: taneda, grappa, braulio or whatever else they will offer the house. If you want to settle for a lunch or dinner with some of your culinary wishes, all right. the secret ingredient of success is sympathy, joy and when there is time a sung together with the sound of the guitar.
We went on board of great friends, there is nothing else to add. we ate sliced and skiatts as few know how to do them. as first risotto with porcini mushrooms that were so good and abundant that you could say porcini mushrooms with rice. we also served taragna polenta and ribs, as well as those on top and to close two types of cakes. Benni then entertained us with the guitar we sang until 1:00 a.m. we face it in Valtellina there is no place so thanks to the managers who know how to do, excellent cuisine (large kitchen and great entertainers
We were guests of friends in this particular place on the Valtellinese mountains and it was really a unique experience, as soon as we arrived we were welcomed the owners very nice as if we were long-time friends, the restaurant offers a fixed menu always different every night and the courses are the moment when they are served. we the evening in which we were there were an appetizer of their meats, then crushed and lazzoccheri, all delicious and abundant and at the end of dinner we were served a tart of their production, coffee in moka and various digestives. I don't know how much the account was because as I said we were guests, in conclusion a place to return without doubt. Very good soon!
Intimate and simple post. Nature is a mistress, traffic far away. Eat Quelcheghè ... typical Valtellinese lunch Top cuts, spectacular skits, today hand-made fresh cutlets with soft deer ragù, taragna polenta and exquisite pork ribs, a sweet fine tart meal and cake pears and chocolate with a good moka coffee! Simplicity and goodness with musical background. Congratulations to the owners who welcome you with the smile and how you were at home! We had a great time. Ps the bike ride despite the abundant lunch went great. Thanks to the next time...I already know that there will be Romina and hope
