A delightful discovery (unfortunately, too late, as it will soon be moving to a more distant location). In a Valtellina area where you expect to find only crotti and agriturismi serving traditional (and timeless) dishes, a chef preparing Eastern fusion cuisine is like finding a grain of salt in a piece of chocolate...surprising!! You can choose from tasting menus (seafood, meat, vegetarian, and even omakase) or à la carte. The selection is wide, and every dish is a surprise. We were a couple celebrating our anniversary and opted for a special menu, ordering five appetizers (to share) and a first course each. Everything was delicious!! The attentiveness and courtesy of the service were equally outstanding, and finally, a few words with Chef Caracciolo were very welcome. I can only thank you for the wonderful experience.
What can I say... Soltojo is a guarantee. The atmosphere and staff are very welcoming. Dining at this restaurant is a truly magical experience, the waterfall providing the backdrop for an evening you 'll never forget. But the star of the dinner is undoubtedly the menu. You can choose à la carte or indulge in the various tasting menus. Each course has its own story, the dishes are created with meticulous care and precision, and the pairings will leave you speechless, not to mention the delicious welcome entrees and the small pastries to finish. As I was saying, this restaurant is undoubtedly a guarantee. Highly recommended.
Excellent experience. I visited this restaurant and found it very interesting: the cuisine isn't strictly traditional, but combines different influences, including Eastern ones. A cuisine that amazes.
I discovered this restaurant by chance while waiting for a youth soccer match to start. The atmosphere was refined and elegant, and the menu offered a wide selection. I didn't have much time, so I just had an excellent rice dish, the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The service was prompt, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The place is very beautiful, especially the small waterfall visible from the windows and the mill beneath the glass floor. The food is excellent and high-quality, the only flaw being the very small quantity... It's a shame because it was really good and I would have eaten much more. I'm not saying the dishes should have been huge like at a mountain hut, but at least there should have been a little more; after all, they're just tastings.
