Soup Thyme - Monroe
Soup Thyme
Description
Nestled in Monroe, Soup Thyme offers an imaginative menu filled with delicious soups and creative sandwiches that keep patrons returning. Signature options like the Cabbage Bacon Chicken soup and Thyme Warp panini have garnered praise for their fresh ingredients and robust flavors. However, the restaurant struggles with consistency, particularly in order accuracy and customer service. Reports of unprofessional management and issues with gluten safety raise concerns for diners with dietary restrictions. Overall, while many enjoy the inviting atmosphere and culinary creativity, improvements in service and food handling are essential for a consistently pleasant experience.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Heard from past and present employees that tips from the tip jar go straight to the owner. Food is meh. Employees are young but very kind. Taking the tips meant for your young staff is shameful.
Although the French onion soup was flavorful, my large bowl was mostly filled with bread, leaving very little soup.
Their soups and sandwiches are all delicious. I highly recommend the Lobster Bisque. The service is excellent, with a meal type perfect for lunch. Prices range from $10 to $20 per person. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, making it a great choice for a meal out.
This place is amazing. The menu is so creative and I love the play on words with all the sandwiches. The food is amazing and clearly made fresh and the people are wonderful. It gets busy at lunch so call ahead or come outside the lunch rush hours. A huge must if you’re in the
Had a coworker pick up a large soup for me. It was a large which was a small cup for a large and the price.I ordered a large beef stew. I opened it and it looked amazing. The soup was think and delicious full of vegetables. Sadly I did not have a single peice of beef in it. I finished the small cup and was pretty upset it did not fulfill my desire for the beef in a beef stew. Again flavor and vegetables are on point..but the lack of beef in their beef stew just looks like I am paying beef price for vegetable results. Will try again and go myself next time hope they improve this. When one buys beef soup I want flavor umami and vegetable...but the most important part is large juicy chunks of beef...having zero chunks is like stealing.
