Monroe Social offers a lunch menu with a limited selection but good salads. The southwest salad is a highlight. The restaurant shows potential as a newcomer. In contrast, the fried chicken is not traditional and nachos were disappointing. The atmosphere can be unwelcoming to newcomers. The bar area can feel like you're intruding on regulars. Service is slow and sometimes absent. However, despite some flaws, the grilled octopus is worth a try. On the bright side, the restaurant has excellent catering options and offers a great mix of beer and Bourbon. Overall, Monroe Social offers fresh and delicious food with pleasant staff and a cozy atmosphere.
Second time dining at this location the food was excellent and Denise our waitress was way attentive and super awesome looking forward to going back soon! I have told lots of peeps about Monroe social .
I was disappointed with the very high noise level in the restaurant. I found the food to be average and the prices higher than they should be. I won’t be returning
The name of this establishment reflects the friendly atmosphere. This is a place to meet friends and new acquaintances, and converse over great food (farm to table) and beverages. The Bourbon/whiskey selection is outstanding, while the burgeoning Scottish Single Malts collection grows more impressive by the season. Highly recommended.
