We were fortunate today – they had Dole Whips! We absolutely love Dole Whips! Well, what remains of it, anyway!
This is a wonderful, family-friendly ice cream shop located in downtown Monroe, GA. We make it a point to visit at least once a month to enjoy a scoop!
I have been to this scoops a few times and the service ice cream was great! I grew up in Covington and would go to the Scoops on the square a lot when I was younger. I was glad to see that there was another Scoops in downtown Monroe. I don't eat ice cream toooo often but have definitely enjoyed getting a scoop of chocolate with rainbow sprinkles (throwback to my childhood lol) every now and then after dinner downtown. Their ice cream is great plus I love that Scoops always has lots old fashioned candy in their shop. Seeing all of the pop rocks, ring pops and baby bottle pops really takes me back. I love the colorful atmosphere and sitting outside in the rocking chairs when the weather is nice. This location also has picnic tables for extra outdoor seating and a cute mural on the side of the building!
The staff is fantastic, and there's a wonderful selection. It's a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy a treat.
I love scoops in Monroe, they always have everything stocked, and the restaurant is clean! My kiddos love going to the Monroe location and the staff is always friendly and kind! My kiddo accidentally dropped her scoop before we paid for it and the staff kindly replaced the scoop for us. We always have a good time here, and the outdoor area is a nice quiet option as well!
