The staff was very friendly. There was an error with my order, once I told them, they promptly corrected.
We arrived right when the restaurant opened, and two employees saw us but didn’t say anything—not even a hello or that someone would be with us shortly. I had to go find someone to get seated. Our waiter was great and clearly felt bad about the situation, but by that point, we were ready to leave. It was an unwelcoming experience and a poor first impression, which is hard to bounce back from.
Errors with two orders this month:1st. My meal was not in the order, but my drink was. Refund received2nd. We received all meals ordered.The Whiskey River BBQ burger order had what looked like a cheeseburger. Very disappointing.
I'm a Red Robin regular, and sadly I've seen an overall decline in quality across most of their locations in WA. Some are worse than others, and this is one of them. I normally sit in bar area and consistently get entrees arriving before apps, no fry fills, wrong orders, and waiting until food is delivered wrong to let us know oh yea, we're out of that. There are about 2 servers who are exempt from the overall bad service. Once, I had the same server swap my Dr pepper and the next table over's diet coke 4 times in 10 minutes and I had to swap them myself.
Food was cooked good, decent amount of fries on a to go order. Previously the monroe location was notorious for giving very little fries on to go orders, as well as undercooked food. Problem seems to be resolved. Timing is still a issue in monroe, a order you want to pick up at 4pm may be 15-20 min late, so just adjust to that schedule for that particular location.
