Ixtapa, has been a long time staple of Monroe. They’ve been serving the community by keeping belly’s full for decades. A lot of the staff has remained the same, which speaks volumes of the longevity of the business. It’s great to see some many familiar faces that I remember growing up. The staff provided terrible service and essentially forced me to pay a tip!!! Make sure to carefully check your receipts, and to top it off, they were racist.
By far, it is my favorite place to eat. Staff is great, and large portions with great flavor.
Love Mexican food! I grew up in Texas and New Mexico as a kid and this is delicious authentic Mexican cuisine! I highly recommend stopping here!
