Bob Evans - Monroe
Bob Evans
Description
Recent visits to Bob Evans have yielded a spectrum of experiences, highlighting both culinary hits and misses. Diners have noted that while some dishes, like mashed potatoes and the chicken soup, remain reliable, others fall short. Fried chicken was criticized for being overly hard and spicy, accompanied by unappetizing sides. Service has also drawn attention, with reports of prolonged waits and less attentive staff. While the atmosphere and some meals have been enjoyable, shrinking portion sizes and inconsistent quality have left patrons questioning whether they will return. Overall, the restaurant seems to need a recommitment to its celebrated standards.

The garden veggie protein bowl was small and pricey. I will not be ordering it again. However, the chicken soup is always reliable and they package everything neatly.
I've had this dish at the restaurant and I'm happy to report that ordering it for delivery did not affect the quality. Everything was fresh, even the fruit.
The flavor of the Legendary Turkey Sandwich was great, but I was let down because I was expecting toasted bread and was surprised to receive wheat bread instead. The fries were also soggy.
The Slow-Roasted Turky and Dressing and the Pot Roast were improved! The plating also was neat and appetizing. Go You!!
