Lucchesi's - Monessen
Lucchesi's
Description
Lucchesi's restaurant presents a mixed bag of reactions. While some patrons were charmed by the attentive service and cozy atmosphere, others voiced strong dissatisfaction with the food quality and high prices. Highlights included a standout waitress, delightful veal dishes, and a warm ambiance perfect for special occasions. However, frequent complaints about overly sweet sauces and mediocre offerings cast a shadow over its reputation. Although a few customers praised particular dishes and emphasized a return visit, the consensus suggests seeking alternatives for better value and culinary experience, with recommendations for places like Kodiak and Sinclair gaining traction among diners.

If you know, you know. I might get in trouble for sharing this… but it's a secret! No photos for a reason…
We visit this restaurant quite frequently and have never been let down. It definitely surpasses most other dining options in Pittsburgh.
I visited this wonderful restaurant with some friends, and I have to say, the food is incredible. The setting is intimate and charming, perfect for a fine dining experience. Be sure to make a reservation, though, or you might end up disappointed. While it can be on the expensive side, the quality of the dishes makes it worth it for a special evening with your partner or a small group. I tried the Lobster Romano, which was fantastic, and my wife had the filet mignon—she's already asking to come back for her birthday. Everything here is top-notch. A+!
