Wow, what an unbelievable experience! As a full-time RVer who has traveled all over the country, I’ve never encountered anything quite like this. I ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich, which, everywhere else I've been, is served on a sub, hero, hoagie, or grinder. Upon arriving, I discovered they only accept cash, which is noted at the bottom of their website. So that was an extra $5 in fees right off the bat. While the staff was very friendly, I couldn’t help but feel my bag was a bit light when I left. Once back at my RV, I opened the small to-go tray only to find a chicken Parmesan on a hamburger bun! I thought, “Okay, this better be good.” Unfortunately, it was far from it. The sandwich consisted of a frozen chicken patty on a standard bun, and the sauce tasted like dirty water. All that for $12? I could have gotten a much better chicken sandwich at any fast-food restaurant for a third of the price. What a complete letdown! If they can’t even manage to put together a simple sandwich, I can’t imagine how their entrees would fare.

It's a waste of money. We decided to give this place a try for the first time, but it was disappointing. The bread was stale, the salad was just lettuce with an excessive amount of cheese, and the sauce was both watery and tasteless. The ravioli had a rubbery texture, and the spaghetti and meatball tasted like they came straight from a can. The waitress was quite loud and pushy, which made for an unwelcoming atmosphere. We won't be returning to see if they improve.

Whenever someone asks me where to find the best Italian food in the area, I always recommend La Eda's. Their gnocchi is the benchmark for what great gnocchi should be, and the sauce is absolutely irresistible. It's one of our family's favorite restaurants, and it always will be.

The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. The dining room felt a bit warm, but I can't really complain since I didn't request the air conditioning. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience.

Having grown up in Monessen, I've known La Eda's for as long as I can remember. It's a family-friendly, traditional Italian restaurant. I especially love their burgers, pizza, and tripe!
