After hearing several very positive reviews regarding this small, south east suburban cafe, Carole I decided to try it out for lunch, recently. We both tried the breakfast dishes consisting of poached eggs and accoutrements, chosen to suit each of our tastes. The coffee was OKService was quite slow and left much to be desired. Warmly welcomed as we walked in. Greeted by a Bea selection of cakes & sweet treats. Excellent breakfast menu with interesting choices. Highly recommend the corn fritters with smoked salmon, avocado & beetroot pickle. The house made baked beans were delicious. Coffee was good. Staff excellent.

Daniel Son is without doubt the best cafe in Murrumbeena. I have been meaning to post a review for a while. I went there for brunch with a few friends this morning and as usual, the food was delicious. I had the corn fritters with chilli con carne and added bacon. The chilli con carne has a bit of a kick but not too spicy for my palate. The bacon was a lovely addition. Although it was quite filling, I managed to devour it all. The coffee is also fantastic. They always provide really friendly service. Would highly recommend a visit!!

I highly recommend trying the Quinoa Salad and Pulled Pork Hash Browns at this restaurant. They are delicious. The service is also excellent, with friendly and lovely owners.
