This is a terrific spot for brunch/breakfast/lunch or just a quick coffee. I have been coming here for a while and always had an excellent experience, and always great food and coffee. The decor is fab - my favourite part though are the staff members - always so welcoming. View all feedback.

This place isn't big, but the great service, friendly but professional service, and one of the best coffees in Melbourne has made me come back, and back and back. Try the "Glorius Basterd" (Pork sandwich which is huuuuge!!). And great great coffee!!!!
After hearing several very positive reviews regarding this small, south east suburban cafe, Carole I decided to try it out for lunch, recently. We both tried the breakfast dishes consisting of poached eggs and accoutrements, chosen to suit each of our tastes. The coffee was OKService was quite slow and left much to be desired. This was disappointing considering it was lunchtime and people would want to get in and out fairly quickly.Also, prices were expensive compared to other cafés of similar standard, this was disappointing.
Egyptian eggs... yum! Pulled Pork sandwich ... HUGE! All delicious and an amazing place for breakfast and brunch
Pretty good atmosphere, friendly staff. Always have some good specials on the menu. Rambo burger is pretty good as is the jaffles
One of the great Melbourne cafes. Awesome breakfast and cakes. Coffee is as good as you will find. If you live in the East it's a must. Always a great vibe.

This restaurant is conveniently located right under the train station, making it a great spot to visit. They serve some of the best mochas I've ever tasted, and the breakfast options are much more substantial than those offered at other cafes.

The coffee at this restaurant is excellent. The service is top-notch and the outdoor seating area with nice tables adds to the experience. The eggs with avocado were delicious. Even the dogs seemed to enjoy themselves, with a water bowl provided for them.
Great place for a jaffle or a full blown all day breakfast. Smart service and great coffee too. Well supported by the community.
Great Cafe food. Good service and lovely atmosphere. Good vegetarian options as well. Good coffee is always refreshing.

Daniel Son is without doubt the best cafe in Murrumbeena. I have been meaning to post a review for a while. I went there for brunch with a few friends this morning and as usual, the food was delicious. I had the corn fritters with chilli con carne and added bacon. The chilli con carne has a bit of a kick but not too spicy for my palate. The bacon was a lovely addition. Although it was quite filling, I managed to devour it all. The coffee is also fantastic. They always provide really friendly service. Would highly recommend a visit!!
I highly recommend trying the Quinoa Salad and Pulled Pork Hash Browns at this restaurant. They are delicious. The service is also excellent, with friendly and lovely owners.
Beautiful and fresh<br/ <br/ Came here with a friend to catch up for brunch on a Monday morning. It was a lovely atmosphere, sitting in the ray of the sunshine, warm and cosy and greeted by friendly staff.<br/ <br/ I had the Egyptian eggs and enjoyed it. A great dish with a good balance of ingredients. Not too big and not too small.<br/ <br/ My friend had the granola which looked great! <br/ <br/ Coffee was pretty good, soy chai was pretty good to and overall we had a lovely meal.<br/ <br/ Thanks
Went here for brunch last week and was not disappointed. While the weather was cold and miserable outside, this lovely cafe provided a warm, comforting meal indoors. The servings were just the right size and the flavours were distinct enough to tell an ingredient was there but not overpowering or underwhelming. It all went together extremely well. Would definitely go back again. Think there were a few things on the menu that I'd like to try on my next visit.Ps: would recommend the smoothie and potato gems
I had brunch with friends at this restaurant on a Sunday and we were extremely impressed by the delicious food and the fantastic coffee. The service was very friendly. I highly recommend this place!
