The food was exceptional, the service attentive and helpful, and the atmosphere and views excellent. My friend and I chose an outdoor table located at the back of the restaurant and has a magical view through the trees of the Mediterranean. Although there are many visitors in the area that visit the castle and other sights, you would never know from this terrace that is quiet and relaxing. The restaurant specializes in seafood, I had the scallops and my friend the huge shrimps with pasta, both were excellent. We also shared a half bottle of rose and our bill (including taxes and service) came to 110 euros; we thought this was a good value given the quality of food, service and location. This is not a cheap café, but a first-class restaurant that is comparable to anyone in a large city in the world. The main courses (in lunch) ranged from 25 40 euros. This restaurant becomes a regular stop when I am happy enough to visit Monaco.
