We are staying near by and have driven past this restaurant, looking on line we read a lot about this venue being a night club. When asked we were told that it was a night club venue and was also under new management who were wanting to use the venue more as a restaurant. We decided to give it a try and was not disappointed, 5 adults and 2 little ones had all our needs catered for, they could not do enough for us. One member of staff spoke good English and guided us through the menu. He was extremely attentive and made us feel extremely welcome. The food was fantastic, locally produced, we will definitely return before the end of our holiday.

Enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch with the family today. 14 of us and all ages. Tasty, unfussy food served by a charming waitress who guided us through the menu with endless patience and always a smile. Lots of space for the children and plenty of shade to sit in. Already booked to go back again!

We were staying near by and asked for a restaurant where we could have some home made pizza. This was the place and we are so thankful for that. Amazing people... great atmosphere and the food (every single dish) was exquisite. They actually made me feel like home.

We dine at this gem of a restaurant every time we visit friends who live in the area. It is one of the highlights of our Tuscan holidays (and trust me there are many to choose from! . The food is always of great quality and taste, as another reviewer has mentioned the Fillet steak is fantastic in fact the BEST steak I have ever eaten... That is in itself a minor problem, as the pizzas here are also first class, being cooked in a traditional italian pizza oven. The atmosphere is terrific, the owner ensures that you feel personally welcomed into his establishment. He is also making great strides with his English!!!! It really is such a friendly and comfortable place to eat in fact so much like most Italian restaurants in this area in that respect. We have also had great wine at this restaurant, the most recent house red we sampled was a local Tuscan wine too. In short this is a highly recommended establishment, well worth travelling for!

Visiting my in laws in the area and this is the second time since we have been to Italy that we ate here. You Must go. It's tucked away int he mountains of the Garfagnana region and is absolutely environmentally beautiful and inside it is super rustic and cozy. The food is superb!! We had a mixed antipasto alla Toscana and Lardo (fat) that melted in your mouth, prices are super fair. Pizza was great! All types of toppings and the ones we tried were amazing. The crust was just right! Definitely go to La Fobbia if you are in the area but call ahead to make sure they are open!
