I love Basque food and this... read more Found this lovely place on a cool Thursday night in January, so didn't expect much but I had the best meal I've had in a long time. I love Basque food and this place didn't disappoint. I had the menu of the day and every course was fresh and delicious. Exceptional, friendly service and couldn't fault in any way. Good value as well. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

We... read more We intended to just go for tapas which looked excellent. But ended up having a meal there which was fantastic by way of the food, the price and the service. We have become used to paying a bit more in the Playa due to its location. But for 12 euros our sea bass was extraordinary value. A big fish with lots more on the plate. In addition, one of our party needed gluten free and they delivered brilliantly.

Started of with some delicious tapas, followed by two main courses (kids weren't hungry after the tapas anymore). Great authentic Basque cuisine, intime atmosphere and good service. The portions are really generous. Try the txistorra sausages!
