Pete and his staff were welcoming and most efficient. We will definitely return. We are going tomorrow for the breakfast which is also amazing.

However the service could have been bette... read more This was our second visit for fish and chips on a Friday lunch. The food was very good. Really light and crisp batter. However the service could have been better. Needs to be more attentive and there was a sense that they were struggling. It took a long time for our food to come. I’m all for giving the kitchen time to cook food properly, but half an hour for fish and chips, is pushing it. We saw a party of four arrive who stated that they had booked online, only for the manager to admit he hadn’t checked online reservations, so they couldn’t have a table. Honest but terse. So basically lovely fish and chips let down by poor service. And they really must do something about the flies. You know you have a problem when you see regulars bringing their own fly swats.
