The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and bright, and the breakfast was unexpectedly excellent. It was right across the street from the sea and a short walk to the Commercial Center. We wish they had more parking but, we were able to park in their lot so that worked out well too. If we want to spend the night in Mojarcar again we would definitely try to stay at Rancho del Mar.

This hotel is in a fantastic position but is in desperate need of a face-lift. The rooms are outdated, expensive for what they are the service severely limited.... read more This hotel is in a fantastic position but is in desperate need of a face-lift. The rooms are outdated, expensive for what they are the service severely limited. If you want a coffee after 10 am don't bother as they clean the coffee machine out there is none on offer! The owner is morose unwilling to assist with luggage. There are far better places to stay with dining areas that are not just for show.

Although they have their own private parking, there is plenty over the road and next to the beach. Staple Spanish foods are offered here, so there is nothing unusual served other than seafood if that is not your bag. Service is very good, family oriented, and geared for those who want a hearty lunch after a long morning swim and too much sun. Prime item to order, but do it in advance and for how many, is the Paella. Very underrated and excellent value for money. Make sure you specify what you don't want on there, or you will get the works and this might not appeal to the whole crowd. Highly recommended.
