Have visited every time we are in Mojacar because of the great food/choice super service. Definitely a fan.

Waiting staff not welcoming. Starters good but too big. Main dishes very poor nothing to be recommended. Some desserts not available. Very expensive menu and no a la carte for an alternative. Not to be recommended. €€€€€

Visited this restaurant with friends who live in Mojacar and we were not disappointed. Although not many people in there, the service was good and the good first class. We had the set menu which had plenty of choices. Would definitely recommend it.

Summary: wouldn’t recommend anything here except ice cream. Okay so first things first. Don’t judge a book by its cover (especially for restaurants) . So this place looks nice. We reserved a table for dinner and when we came we got given menus and the waitress seemed very nice. But the waitresses/waiters aren’t involved at all. They don’t ask how anything is, they don’t come often to check if you want something else (we had to wait about 10 15 minutes just to order the food). Anyway. Once we had ordered the food we got given complimentary hot bread straight away and that was pretty good (best food we had there) . The starters arrive and all three of us got the fried baby squid which was all batter and no squid and the lemon and lettuce saved it really. And the sauces helped as well. Done. We wait we wait. Drink our drinks. Finally our food comes. One grilled octopus, one sirloin steak and one lamb shank. Octopus two small tentacles. Sirloin steak was thin and although we asked for medium, it came dry/overcooked. Steak wasn’t that terrible though (just you expect better). Lamb shank or is it? So immediately I noticed it was dryish/overcooked and once I tasted it I realised it was goat. Not terrible but I asked for lamb and that’s what it says on the menu right? Anyway I ate maybe half of it and asked the waiter what meat it is. ,“Is it goat?” He mumbles quickly, “That’s what everyone tells me but it’s lamb,” hmmm. Oh and by the way, just to let you know, they don’t speak very good English here except that one waitress. Also all the dishes came with chips or like a boiled or steamed piece of potato. For desert we got ice creams. Ice creams good. If want get ice cream here but I wouldn’t recommend anything else.
