I recently visited this restaurant to grab a sandwich, and it’s been on my list for quite some time. I wish I had come sooner! The sandwich I had was excellent—so fresh and flavorful. The staff were wonderful, and the cat, Punkin, is absolutely adorable. The atmosphere is charming, almost like a small rustic oasis in the heart of Modesto. I ordered the Christine sandwich with added roast beef, and the combination of sprouts and cream cheese was fantastic. I will definitely be returning; everything was fantastic!

AUTHENTIC. If I could pick just one restaurant to have lunch at every day, it would be this one. The warm sense of community, the connection to nature with plants all around, and the simple yet delightful sandwiches create a near-perfect experience. This place possesses a unique charm that I believe could never be duplicated in a Michelin-starred restaurant. (Cash Only)

Great lunch with a friendly staff! Make sure to bring cash, as they do not take credit card yet. There is also a Wells Fargo ATM across the street.
