We took advantage of this place on our day trip to Modena. We arrived for lunch. Make a reservation! It is a short ride outside the center of Modena in a place where you would not expect a Michelin-starred (awarded in 2017) restaurant to be, the road to seems to leave Modena to connect with bigger roads. The area seems to have had better days, but if you like excellent food, you would be crazy to let this dissuade you. It is a small restaurant with well-dressed waiters and the chef personally comes out to take your order, accompanied by a translator just in case. OMG, the cuisine was awesome. They have a tasting menu and I would have gotten this, but this takes a long time and we wanted to see Modena. Do not miss this place. An excellent value!

Which I ha... read more Seriously the food is out of this world. But be ready for small portions. But from the cheese platter to the starters the main dish to the ice cream. Which I have to say is simply the best I’ve ever had. Or I can safely say the ice creams I’ve been eating aren’t real ice cream. All the dishes the table ordered were A1. Top class chef. I would most certainly come again if I return to Modena.
