They still have some improvements to make, but I think they will be okay in the future. Currently, the food was a 3, service was a 2, and the atmosphere was a 2.

Overall rating: Food- 5, Service- 5, Atmosphere- 5. Recommended dishes include the BBQ Sandwich. There is plenty of parking available in the free parking lot.

The wait times have increased, the food has changed, and the service is now terrible. It's a shame to see such a great place ruined. However, our experience last... read more I was excited when Gunter's took over the old CJ's location. That area of Davie County really needs more family-owned restaurants. However, our experience last night was disappointing. We sat at a dirty table and had to ask for it to be cleaned. The service was slow and we saw other tables also experiencing long wait times. After waiting 45 minutes, we decided to leave without our food. My husband canceled our order and paid for the one drink we had received. Unfortunately, they still charged him for the drink, which was not good customer service. It seems like they need more experienced staff running the kitchen. We may not be back anytime soon, and my husband may not give them another chance after this experience.
