I really appreciate the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The products they offer are consistently fresh and delicious. Their crawfish are some of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend stopping by to pick some up if you're in the mood for seafood.
Can't give this place nothing but props.....it's a must Stop by whenever I pass through mobile....
We loved here about 2 yrs ago from louisiana. MUGBUGS is the only place we like to go. Very friendly atmosphere, quick service and amazing crawfish!

Crawfish 5 stars for sure the lowest level seasoning was perfect with a small kick so good level of spice for a group. The 10lbs deal is a great price too because it’s crawfish plus corn potatoes and sausage. The reason I gave 4 stars is Only because of the wait. It took 20 30 minutes to get our food if you can Order online beforehand!
I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and was really impressed. You get a generous portion of food for the price. However, the boom boom sauce could use some improvement, as it was a bit lacking in flavor. I highly recommend trying the steam platters and the Royal Reds. I would definitely consider ordering from here again. Food rating: 4/5.
The food was incredibly tasty, and the service was outstanding. Even though we arrived near closing time, the staff was kind and urged us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. We will certainly come back the next time we're in Mobile. Food rating: 5/5.
My husband has been dining here frequently over the years since he works in Mobile, but I only recently visited for the first time. The woman who took our order was incredibly kind! I tried the 'sharkleberry' slush, and it was quite good. The food was excellent as well, although I usually prefer my catfish with a cornmeal breading. Food: 4/5
I placed my order inside the store and paid for a pan, but the food was packed in boxes instead. I requested green onions on the side, yet they were both on the side and in the pan. After a 35-40 minute drive home, part of my order was missing. When I finally sat down to eat, the portion I had driven so far for was overly salty. This experience ruined my mom’s Mother’s Day—Mudbug used to be her favorite spot, which is why I made the long drive. I spent nearly $100 trying to do something special for her, which isn’t easy for me. The only acceptable resolution would be a full refund, but since that likely won’t happen, you’ve lost a customer for life.

Mudbugs is awesome! Generous portions, fresh seafood, and incredibly friendly staff. We celebrated a birthday here with a wide selection of fried seafood: crab claws, shrimp, catfish, and crawfish. Everything was delicious...fried to perfection. My son said that from now on, EVERY family birthday dinner will be at Mudbugs!
We always make it a point to stop here on our way to Gulf Shores. The seafood, whether fried or steamed, is fantastic. The atmosphere is casual, and the staff is friendly! The manager was incredibly helpful in accommodating us with our dog on a hot day. This place never lets us down.
I ordered the Cajun Box, which includes 3 pounds of delicious seafood, along with two ears of corn, potatoes, and sausage. The food was amazing! The atmosphere in the restaurant was delightful too. We arrived around 30 minutes before closing, but we never felt rushed. I even had an extended conversation with the owner about Mobile since I just moved here. I highly recommend Mud Bugs on the Loop!
Awful and poorly presented with food falling into the bag. I wish I had taken a photo prior to taking the opened plate out of the tied up bag.. Receipt and ketchup packets were thrown on the top of my food, hence the greasy receipt. Shrimp and fries were overcooked and drenched with old nasty oil. They did not put my hush puppies in my order, but I was charged. My husband called back to let them know and nobody answered. This was my second visit and the first visit was nothing like this one. Too much money for this unclean food....It made me lose my appetite because of the way they threw it together.

I absolutely love the shrimp and fries, and the steamed dishes were also delicious. The sausage is worth highlighting as well. I wish I had the vocabulary to reallyyyy emphasize how fantastic this food is!!! The staff is friendly and down to earth and the prices are reasonable. The wait wasn?t unreasonable and we explored the decor with delight! We?ll see y?all again!!!
Absolutely! I agree with the other reviews. This was my second visit, and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the shrimp and fries, and the steamed seafood was also delightful. The sausage was amazing! The dining room is clean and beautifully decorated, and the food is delicious. The staff is attentive and courteous as well.
