When we visited, it felt like there was no one in charge. They didn't have our reservation upon our arrival, but they did make an effort to accommodate us within 10 minutes. There were plenty of available tables, but none were cleaned. Although several staff members were present, no one was tending to the cleaning of the tables. Additionally, one of the elevators was out of service, making it challenging to reach the restaurant.
Terrible experience. We were the only customers in the restaurant, and we ordered a bottle of wine, but the waitress never brought us any wine glasses. After waiting for 20 minutes without any glasses, we decided to get up and leave.
The brunch selection was great, although I wasn't aware it was a brunch when I made a reservation for six. Unfortunately, the service from the wait staff did not meet the restaurant's apparent standards. On the plus side, the food was good.
Our family ate lunch at Launch on Easter Sunday. The buffet was impressive and delicious, with a wide variety of offerings. The wait staff and other personnel were friendly and helpful. We plan on returning for other occasions.
Visitors to the restaurant and hotel have shared mixed experiences. While the hotel lobby boasts beautiful decor, issues such as dark, hot hallways and maintenance concerns detract from overall comfort. Guests reported discomfort with room amenities, less-than-satisfactory cleanliness, and service inconsistencies. However, some diners praised the restaurant’s food quality, particularly certain dishes, alongside commendable staff efforts despite evident understaffing. Many patrons enjoyed the buffet and noted attentive service during busy periods. Overall, while certain aspects of the experience shine, significant improvements are necessary for a more enjoyable stay and dining experience.

It was my first time to stay here. the room was nice, but smaller than what I am used to. valet parking was a bit expensive, but the young were nice. tomorrow morning we'll have breakfast for two. They were out of muffins on the 2nd morning and had an hour before the closing. I was looking forward to her. the kartoffels on the second day were too sharp. overall, eating was good. the ice machine was sold on our floor. the shower should have a rail there. it was unpleasant for me because I have orthopedic problems.
I did notice a nearby garage advertising a $10 rate for hotel guests, but that’s actually for the Holiday Inn Express across the street, not for my hotel. My corner room was wonderful, featuring a lovely bathroom and plenty of space, although I was a bit disappointed to find that there was no refrigerator. On my first night (Monday), I noticed music playing throughout the night, but I didn't see or hear anything happening outside on the streets or in the area—it must have been coming from somewhere below my room. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
We stayed at Admiral for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful, and the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I had requested a room on an upper floor due to a busy weekend and a view of the hotel, and they delivered. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we slept very well both nights. The hotel is in a fantastic location, allowing us to explore various restaurants, a charming sweet shop, and the historic museum. We definitely plan to return on our next trip to Mobile.
The lobby was beautifully decorated, but the complimentary water, while visually appealing, didn't come with cups. The hallways were dark, hot, and had an unpleasant smell. The ice machine was out of order, and the carpets looked old and dirty. Although the bathroom appeared clean, it definitely needs some attention. The sink was nice, but the mini fridge was warm. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were tiny. The lighting in the room was very dim. We chose not to eat in the restaurant after hearing negative reviews about the food. Overall, I would rate this place 2 stars; however, we did enjoy a peaceful and safe environment during our stay. Unfortunately, I wouldn't choose to return.
I absolutely loved our stay here. At first I was upset due to the issue of no tub in the room even though I called before I booked and was told that if I booked a deluxe room they all have one. Well we get to our room and there was only a shower. Went to the front desk and told them of the issue and they corrected it by upgrading our room to the BEST room ever with a HUGE tub so I was very pleased. Thank you very much I will always stay here and recommend to everyone
