I could have gone to the Golden... read more I used to love this place and didn’t mind paying extra for the quality and the feeling of being treated like a valued customer. I could have gone to the Golden Arches for a third of the price and gotten the same experience. When we walked in, there was only one employee. She was nice, but the level of customer service just isn’t what it used to be. I paid for a large drink because I wanted to take home a large tea, but they were out of tea with no plans to make more. So, I ended up paying for a large drink even though I would have been fine with just a water cup, as I’m not a soda person. There was no ketchup pump either. This might sound petty, but one of the things I always enjoyed about Five Guys was not having to open a bunch of ketchup packets. Apparently, that’s a thing of the past now, so you have to deal with packets. The burger and fries were fine, but overall, I’m just not impressed anymore and don’t think it’s worth the extra cost.

I ate in my car and noticed the patty was smaller than I expected from the menu. However, the onions, ketchup, and tomato were exactly as I ordered. The cook was kind enough to include extra fresh fries in my bag. The restaurant was empty, which felt a little strange, but overall, it satisfied my craving.
