Eventually, we decided to take a seat at the bar, order drinks, and wait for a table. My wife and I had an incredible dining experience at The Shack today. The pork belly was the finest I've ever had, and my wife loved her fish dish. The staff were friendly and hospitable, and we highly recommend this genuine restaurant.
The Shack consistently delivers delicious food with a fantastic menu served in a warm, inviting setting. The staff are cheerful and attentive. If you spot a line, it’s absolutely worth waiting—both the lamb shank and the fish and chips are excellent choices you won’t regret.
The Shack is an excellent spot to meet up and spend quality time with family and friends. With its genuine Irish pub atmosphere, exceptional service, and delicious food and desserts, it’s a place I’ll definitely visit frequently with my friends.
We had lunch here last week, I had the beef. It was definitely the nicest beef I have ever tasted. So tender and tasty. I have had other meals here in the past and the food is always fabulous. Desserts are really good also. I could not find fault with anything in The Shack! Staff are super efficient and very friendly. Would definitely recommend it.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, great drinks, and friendly personable service. Wife and I visited Athlone from the UK and were so glad we came here for lunch, highly recommend.
