Eventually, we decided to take a seat at the bar, order drinks, and wait for a table. My wife and I enjoyed an amazing meal at The Shack today. The pork belly was absolutely the best I've ever tasted, and my wife was delighted with her fish dish. The staff were warm and welcoming, and we wholeheartedly recommend this authentic restaurant.

We had lunch here last week, I had the beef. It was definitely the nicest beef I have ever tasted. So tender and tasty. I have had other meals here in the past and the food is always fabulous. Desserts are really good also. I could not find fault with anything in The Shack! Staff are super efficient and very friendly. Would definitely recommend it.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, great drinks, and friendly personable service. Wife and I visited Athlone from the UK and were so glad we came here for lunch, highly recommend.
