The lamingtons were huge, absolutely the best I have ever tasted, and very reasonably priced compared to city bakeries. Husband had the caramel slice and he said that was also very good. Will be going back again before we leave Mitchell and buying the same again as well as a famous pie, and also a loaf of their award winning fresh bread. A must do stop when in this town, can't recommend it highly enough, the staff were also very friendly and the coffee was great.

The Mitchell Bakery is also good for travellers. Fresh bread Good pies and if you fancy a treat I can recommend the lamingtons or the Caramel Tarts or the Chocolate Cheesecake. Drop in and pick up your stores for the next few days of your trip. The IGA is next door to pick up whatever else you need.
