I visited the Mitchell hotel a couple of times. Bar staff are overseas backpackers who are helpful and up for a chat. I also struck up a conversation with a couple of the locals, well they were within a couple of hundred kilometers which makes them a local in a big country. Meals a average pub grub, but always more enjoyable in an Outback Pub venue. Bottle shop pool table and all the usuals
