If you’re in Missoula this is one of those need-to-go places. It’s a classic, with some of the best ice cream in Missoula, possibly even the best. I have the salted caramel milkshake and it was okay. I shared it, but I would have bought two. it is not so big and it was fast I went there on warm 80° thundersday night and the line moves fast and they are nice there was a food truck festival close to live music I went here the next day and ordered a huckleberry and minze oreo milkshake in the milkshake there was no huckleberries. boo. it is pretty overrated View all feedback.

Locals and tourists must stop for this Montana exclusive ice cream! I lived in Montana for three years and went to Big Dipper's Ice Cream many times. They have a range of flavors that ensures everyone will get something they like. I recommend the salted caramel, but all the flavors are worth a try. Support local businesses and come get some ice cream!
Amazing ice cream! Truly creamy and flavor packed. Very natural flavors without anything tasting artificial, powdered or syrupy. Very good service and they were surprisingly efficient getting thru what seemed like a long line.
