Update June 2021: I returned for more tasty eats at this lovely Taiwanese comfort food spot owned by a friendly husband and wife. My wife has been coming here for over 25 years, and it holds sentimental value for her. I've been a customer for about 20 years myself. What Yun Ta Lee doesn't like about Zhèng Gǎng Tái Wān Xiǎo Chī The Chase Convenience Store:
The food was terrible. I wanted support this mom and pop Taiwanese restaurant, but the take out food was just absolutely terrible. The broccoli was hard boil or microwaved from frozen package, totally tasteless. The braised chicken drum stick was stale, likely days old. No wonder there were no one at this shop at dinner time. this shop should be avoided at all cost. View all feedback.

There is lots to love here folks My wife had been frequenting this location for over 25 years It is like a stroll down memory lane for her. I have been coming here for about 20 years myself now.The mall has gone through many transformations because of restaurants and various retail stores coming and going.But the Chase Convenience store remains. You can get a wide variety of bubble tea and other tea drinks. I really enjoy the food on their menu.They have a selection of wonderful Taiwanese dishes to soothe your pallet of that night market cravings.It is a mom and pop operation. So this alone gets my support over the large chain restaurants. The owner and his wife prepare the food with care and attention.A experience for me all the way here.
Not spicy and salty I love it. The food look same as their picture.
