My stepson recommended this place to me, raving about the Wels sandwich and the delicious BBQ. My wife and I decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic and the portions were generous. The brisket was tender and flavorful, with a nice bark on the outside. We were impressed by the quality of the food at Ace's and will definitely be returning. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to dine with family and friends. The customer service was excellent, with friendly staff always ready to help. I have to mention the mac and cheese and potato salad, even though I usually don't eat potato salad - Ace's Kartoffel salad was amazing. Overall, the food at Ace's is top-notch Texas BBQ, and leaving a good tip is a must to show appreciation for the hard work that goes into making such delicious barbecue. My wife and I also tried the Ace restaurant in Edinburg, which was good but not quite the same as the one in Mission. Both locations offer great BBQ, but in my opinion, the Ace in Mission is superior. Though both places have their charm, we felt a special touch of love at the Mission location. I appreciate both restaurants but when I crave potato salad, I will be heading to Ace in Mission. Just my personal preference. Thank you to both locations for the wonderful dining experiences.
My rating is a 4 but my man would be a 5. he had the ribs/beard special and loved both. he said it was his favoritesbbq so far in the valley. I had the baked kartoffel with brisket and was a little disappointed. it was barely warm and from any reason too salty. that was good. we will definitely return.
The food was fantastic! The staff were lovely and the music added a nice touch. We ordered a variety of dishes and everyone left satisfied. The peach cobbler was complimentary and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning.
