Hosts are very hospitable. They offer a good choice of beers, for a good price. Food is also very good, and good price. Seats are well furnished, inside and outside. The pub also offers a pool table, some slots and shuffleboard. The biggest drawback is cash-only policy, although it is not enough to keep me from returning. Just be prepared with cash, and as I said, the prices are good.

Decided to check this place out for lunch one day after seeing a sign out front advertising open for lunch and hearing someone say this place had good chili. I... read more Decided to check this place out for lunch one day after seeing a sign out front advertising open for lunch and hearing someone say this place had good chili. I 've never spent much time in bars--just isn 't my thing--so it was a small shock to see that this place is 100% a bar. THey 've got a small menu with hotdogs done a few different ways (including your own way), ham/cheeseburgers, and chips. That 's about it. Non-alcoholic drinks are served from the can into a plastic cup. Everything else is beer, booze, a few big screen TV 's, and some video poker machines. The rest of the place is atmosphere. It 's dim with some bar paraphernalia here and there; I did see a vintage cigarette machine in the corner (which I believe was stocked). I didn 't smell smoke on the inside which is a huge plus. I can 't speak for the night life here. It definitely seems like an established local watering hole (as I 've been told it is by others). THe hotdogs were good for lunch and it wasn 't pricey. $8 for two dogs, chips, and a can of Coke. There are definitely places with more offerings in town for lunch. I would guess the place picks up at night. Not a bad place, but probably not a regular lunch spot. By the way: cash only. ATM located inside.
