This restaurant is fantastic. We don 't live anywhere near it, but we passed it one day during our travels to see friends and thought it looked nice, so when we were trying to think of a new place to eat a few days ago, we felt we should take to trip to Char Bar 7. We were so happy to have found this restaurant. It 's a friendly, spacious pub-style restaurant with booths, tables and high-tops. Our waitress was extrem... View all feedback.
What Cathy H doesn't like about Charbar No.7 Mint Hill:
Disappointed we wasted $100 here. Mediocre food. Bad service so slow. Messed up my daughter's order. Waited way too long for drink refills and clearing empty plates. Server tried to make up for it with a free dessert but by then we had been there and hour and a half and just wanted to go home. Music was unnecessarily loud. Won't be back. View all feedback.
It is the favorite place to stop my family when we travel between Fort Worth Texas and Midland Texas, the food is always hot and the staff is always friendly.
Make an online order via their website. The only accepted payment is Apple Pay, which I don't use, but hesitantly added to place the order. Went inside to order approx. 20-30 minutes after placing check, as there is not an update on my end just to say that they get the order, but never filed it into the kitchen noting that the place is not busy at all. That is, we have the following: Wedge SalatChicken QuesadillaTurkey WrapTurkey-Cali Burger Apart from skill on the frits and old brown wedge, the rest of the food was all appropriately tempered and tasted well.
Bad meal and service in a long time. Wife and had a rare date night. Started with a Caesar salad that smelled so fishy and tasted that I had to put it on another table so that we could not smell it. Waiter laughed, while another waitress came by and asked if she could bring us something else. Ordered steak medium and it was so rare it was cold. No offer to replace, only to supplement meal. That was good when I got out. Server would consider empty glass and ask if more tea wanted instead of simply bringing it. I know this is a small thing, but just added to the whole night of us who cross this place from our list. We went and had a nice dessert somewhere else to save the night.
Server was knowledgeable in the menu and gave us good recommendations. Food came out immediately and special requests were honored.
Had dinner here with family, they had live music that is always a plus for me. The food was rather tasty, I got the ribeye and my parents got the salmon. We have wings for apps, dry rubles, but my father said it was too salty for his pleasure. My steak was really good. Well sown and the shaved Brussels were also extremely tasty. It was my dinner, so they got me a free brownie. It came warm, but it's really rich so I couldn't eat anything, but it was still very good. waitress was also very friendly
