Our bartender, Nicole, was amazing! She made an excellent traditional whiskey sour. The bar has a laid-back and welcoming vibe, making it a great place to enjoy a drink and catch up with old friends.

Trying desperately to bring life to the city of Minot. These guys are throwing out events for everything from cheese tastings to costume parties/pub crawls. Set downstairs after entering under an unassuming black awning, you'll find the best pour in town. A fun concept with excellent ambiance, quality drinks, great variety. Not sure what you want? Chat it up with the friendly staff. They'll point ya in the right direction and slide ya some samples. Be sure to check out their events on Facebook. You won't be disappointed.

The Tap Room is in my opinion by far the best place for a drink in Minot, ND. I only lived in Minot for 5 months, but it became my favorite location to go. They serve the best beers around, and are always eager to get in new selections and share the joy of good beer with others. They also have wine and cider options, and I think its great that they have teamed up with Big Time Bistro for food options. The atmosphere is ideal welcoming, rustic, exposed original stone work, excellent lighting. The owners themselves did the work to prepare the place, and that personal aspect can be felt. I enjoy that the place is not large, and even with limited space they bring in local musicians, have trivia nights, and board/card games to play. But what makes this place is those behind the bar. The owners and bartenders are all extremely friendly, conscientious, and knowledgeable. Then knew me by name after only a couple visits, and we developed a personal friendship. They engaged well, all the while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service to everyone. Their excitement for quality beer and quality friendships is contagious. It is sad that there is a one star review from Whitney H. I did not once see them treat customers in a disrespectful way. If you are just looking for trash beer and a place to find a hook up, don't disgrace this place by coming here. BUT, if you are looking for quality beer, a quality atmosphere, and quality people, definitely check this place out. I can not say that I miss ND, but I dearly miss this place and the people.
