Description

**Wendy's: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**

At Wendy's, customer service seems to be a hit-or-miss affair. While many patrons praise the warmth and friendliness of the staff, frustrations arise during rush hours when help is scant, leading to cold meals and long waits. Recent menu items, like the Italian chicken sandwich and peppermint frosty, have left some diners disappointed due to bland flavors and unappealing aftertastes. Additionally, issues with order accuracy and cleanliness, including expired milk, underscore the need for improvement. Ultimately, while the food often hits the spot, enhancing service and quality is vital for a more satisfying dining experience.

The food was good, no issues there, but the customer service was lacking. If you don’t enjoy your job, maybe it’s time to reconsider. Just be kind and smile, even on your toughest days. I’m not responsible for whatever problems you have at home.

I visited the restaurant around 4 PM when the dining area was empty, but my experience was quite disappointing. In the back, employees were shouting at each other, and I even witnessed a heated argument between one of the staff members and the mother of his child in the lobby, as she was asking him to clock out early to go home. The bathroom was unclean, which added to the overall unpleasant atmosphere. There was a crying baby, and the noise from the staff contributed to the chaotic environment. The only positive aspect was that the food was exactly as I had ordered and expected.

I arrived at the drive-thru but found no one at the speaker. I decided to proceed to the second window, where I encountered an employee casually sitting on a ledge. I honked my horn to catch his attention, and when he opened the window, I explained that there was no one at the monitor while I was waiting. He told me that there were supposed to be two people at the monitor and instructed me to turn around and head back. So, I did just that. Once I returned to the monitor, a woman appeared and asked me to wait because they were in the process of changing shifts. After waiting for a while, I ultimately decided to go to Burger King instead.

The posted hours show that they're open until midnight, but when I drove up to the drive-thru, the menu lights were off, and the large sign out front wasn't lit either. However, I could spot at least four employees inside who seemed to still be on the clock. They turned the lights back on as if they hadn’t been pretending to be closed. I can’t help but wonder if the general manager is aware of this situation. When I tried to place my order, I was told that some items were unavailable because the machines had already been shut off. I understand the urge to leave work on time, but if they intend to close early, they should update their hours accordingly. It’s frustrating to act as if they’re closed until customers arrive and then only take part of the order. If they aren’t willing to serve customers past 9:30 PM, they might want to reconsider scheduling shifts after that time.

Usually this place isnt bad, but this time wa rough. Forgot an entire part of our order then tried to act like we weren't seeing it. Customer service lacking, felt like a bother more than a customer. Which is weird for a Friday night crew.
