Located in the heart of the city, Terzo offers a dining experience characterized by exceptional service and a cozy ambiance. While many patrons rave about the flavorful risotto, buttery gnocchi, and delightful olive oil cake, others express disappointment regarding portion sizes relative to the price. The restaurant's happy hour garners praise for its complimentary snacks and refined wine selection. Despite some inconsistencies in food execution, especially with pasta, it's evident that Terzo aims to curate a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, this hidden gem is recommended for wine lovers and those seeking a thoughtful Italian meal.

Went to Terzo about a month ago and was obsessed with everything! The vibe was amazing, the food and wine even better. I loved it. Hoping they recover from the horrible flooding and see many customers come in to support! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Terzo won 't reopen after 'devastating ' water main break The water main break occurred on Feb. 13 right outside of Terzo 's main entryway. Author: David Griswold Published: 4:39 PM CDT May 30, 2025 Updated: 4:39 PM CDT May 30, 2025 MINNEAPOLIS — Months after a water main break caused widespread damage to several businesses around 50th Street and Penn Avenue South, Terzo announced its doors will remain closed permanently. The Broder family, which owns the Italian-inspired restaurant and wine bar, posted on social media that the damage was too great to reopen, saying the space was unrecognizable. Terzo was more than just a place to eat; the guests made our neighborhood restaurant a gathering place for countless memories, celebrations, and nightly rituals, the post reads, in part. We are deeply grateful for the support, love, and loyalty you’ve shown the Terzo team over the years. To the staff that brought Terzo life, your contributions will never be forgotten. It has been an honor to contribute to the growing Twin Cities restaurant community over the past 12 years. We are especially grateful to our friends who organized events to benefit Terzo staff impacted by this tragedy. The water main break occurred on Feb. 13 right outside of Terzo 's main entryway. In March, owner Charlie Broder told KARE 11 's Gordon Severson that the water broke through a wall in their basement. Broder was hopeful that the restaurant could be restored, but on Friday, he announced that the resources needed were beyond their capacity. Instead, Broder said they will expand their flagship Cucina Italiana market and deli. While we mourn the loss of Terzo, we look to the future with optimism and excitement, the post reads. If there is one thing we’ve learned after 43 years in business, we must move forward. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
