Was Randy Runte at Smack Shack a mag?
the food and the service were good. overall the experience was good. we felt compelled to get out quickly, which was negatiw. our apps and the main came at the same time and the feeling hastily cut into the dining room experience. View all feedback.

What Zola Leannon dislikes about Smack Shack:
I have eaten at the Smack Shack many times. I always order the king size Lobster Roll. I ordered the king size roll again, but it looked like the regular roll. I brought this up to the waiter and he said that it was the king size. My whole family agreed that it was not the king size. I let it slide this time, but I paid an extra $12 for the king size. Otherwise, the food was good as usual. View all feedback.

Went there for lunch. Not a huge seafood person but had the shrimp tacos off the lunch special menu. Good flavor but shrimp was a little too large for the taco. Traded with a lunch mate for a lamb birria taco. More flavor and toppings fit into the taco. Great service and great atmosphere

Service and atmosphere were great. Mussels were also very good.

If you want quality seafood with chill vibes, this is the place. The staff is great and the food is phenomenal. There's a bar area so you can hang with friends or you can sit and relax in the restaurant section. They let the food be the star of the show. We had the crab cakes and the Rhode Island lobster roll. The key lime pie was also savory.

It's urban meh. It's fine dining if your idea of good is Applebees or Red Lobster OR you are feeding picky young children OR you're one of the neighborhood's young professional bros who thinks a wasteful pile of lobster is a super impressive date that negates the need to listen to your date so you can talk endlessly about yourself. It's overpriced for the food quality (which is fair, not excellent), but in line for location. The staff are generally quite good and deserve every penny of the tip and then some. The patio is pretty decent for the Warehouse district. So there is that.

Walking in this ample space has a fun, industrial seashack feel. The mix of weathered elements with metal adds a thoughtful touch. There are two big rooms and a big bar area. The food was delicious! The standout was the lobster guacamole. It was creamy, had light salt, and big chunks of avocado. Our waiter generously gave us a second round of chips. I had the Connecticut lobster roll, which was warm and delicious. Our server was very helpful and even helped box up the lunch of one of our party who had to dash unexpectedly. I'd recommend stopping in for lunch when it's busy but still has plenty of room.
