Soupy ketchup for truffle fries. The only thing halfway decent was the fries. I've been coming here for a decade and will not return again. Great news for Murray's, 801, ps steak and others. We had a reservation for 7:15 and were seated immediately. The bread was good but not warm. They gave us 2 options with butter and it just would have been so much better warm. Our food came out in about 20 minutes after ordering. We got bone marrow for an appetizer. It comes with a sweet jam. It was my first time having bone marrow, first bite I enjoyed it. It wasn’t as flavorful as I expected. Mostly just taste like fat. For dinner we got the cream spinach, Mac n cheese, truffle fries and ribeye steak. My issue with the food is it’s pretty bland and overly greasy. The ribeye steak had a lottt of fat on it, we chose it because he said it was their most flavorful cut. Unfortunately it didn’t have as much flavor as I expected and I wished for a leaner cut. We also asked for medium and it was medium rare. The other sides had minimal flavor as well, making the whole meal lackluster. The portions however are great! We split everything and had leftovers. When I walked in, the guy at the desk picked up a phone call. He was polite enough to tell the person on the other end to hold on. He wasn’t friendly or rude to me. He did get me seated right away. I sat at my table for 10 mins without a menu. Finally, I got up and asked a server for a menu. He said he would bring me one, but it never came. Finally, the assistant server came and gave me a drink menu. I was starving and wanted and asked for a dinner menu. Waited another 10 mins for a dinner menu. The Asst server gave me bread, but it was cold. I asked the server if the bread is usually served cold and he said yes with an attitude and walked away. For dinner, I ordered the lobster cake, mashed potatoes, and filet mignon. The lobster cakes were lukewarm and tasted salty. The mashed potatoes were tasteless, no flavor whatsoever!!!. The steak did not look like filet mignon; it looked like a cheap piece of steak from Walmart. It was flat and dry with barely any flavor to it. At $180 for one person, I was expecting more. Very disappointed in this place, as I was looking forward to eating there. Even after all that, I left the waiter a good tip. Other than the bread issue, he was pretty pleasant towards me. If you want a good steak and service go to pistburgh blu.

I've been to the oceanaire for seafood, I've been to Murrays for steaks. Here I got the lobster tail and the dry aged ribeye, in my opinion both courses beat the oceanaire and Murrays. Yes, you're going to have to open your wallet up for this experience, but I promise it's worth it. The lobster tail was fantastic and the steak was excellent.. overall this place is a 9.5/10. The only thing that held it back for me is the bone marrow, I wasn't upset at the price of anything except for that item, for what you pay you get very little. The apple wood smoked bacon is fantastic, I highly recommend that for an appetizer. The cocktails are great, yes expensive, but they're loaded. The customer service? Phenomenal, best experience I've had anywhere. The waiter was knowledgeable, excited, and friendly. I've never seen steak sold before, this place does it and it's one of the best parts of the experience. Overall fantastic place for a special occasion. We will be back!
