Update 7/30/2022: I keep coming back for brunch, and they keep delivering good service and amazing food! We tried the deviled eggs as an appetizer and they were rich, flavorful, and creamy not something I enjoy often, but something I would absolutelyeat again here. The chilaquiles continue to be my favorite brunch item, but the chicken and French toast deserves honorablemention for sure it's a large portion, and it has a lot going on but it all works so well together! The sausage gravy isthick and really soaks into the bread. Adding fried chicken to that bite was everything you want southern comfort food to be.One friend really enjoyed the burrito, but would recommend asking for a side of gravy for next time. This has to be one of ifnot the best brunch spots in the Cities! Original review: Sunday brunch has a tantalizing menu that was all kinds ofdelicious. I chose the chilaquiles and never knew breakfast could taste that good. Perfectly prepared, great presentation, morethan enough food to keep me full for the day. Friend had the steel cut oats which were served almost like waffles. Never seen itbefore, but they were delicious, and sort of cozy? I'm already dying to go back. Yum!
Longfellow is our favorite breakfast spot in the cities by a landslide. If you have kids— they open early and it’s totally family friendly. We’ve rarely had to wait when we arrive before 9am. There’s a huge patio that gets packed in the summer andfall. Great bike spot with tons of bike racks and access to the trails. For food- their all day breakfast is hard to beat. Welove the breakfast burrito, chilaquiles (my favorite ever!! , and tostadas (this came off the menu- hoping it comes back . Protip: if you have kids that like variety or eat quite a bit, the eggs, cakes and links from the adult menu is perfect to split.Split it has 2 pancakes, a huge sausage link, and an egg for each person (2 people . Severs don’t give you grief for orderingit and it’s a TON of food.
I'm impressed with this place every time I come here! It's one of my favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities! Yesterday I had their Steak Pierogies and it was absolutely yummy!! It was all cooked fresh from scratch and my medium-well done steak turnedout beautifully moist, the sauce on it was perfect, and the best pierogies I've ever had. The horseradish sauce was delicioustoo as well as homemade to perfection. Everything was perfect. The service was quick and friendly even on a busy lunch day! I'vebeen coming here on and off throughout the years and I'll be coming back for years to come
Stopped for a quick pick me up with my husband in the middle of our spring walk. We were greeted immediately and our server (Turner H) was excellent. Lucky for us we arrived during happy hour so our beers were $5 each and our margherita flatbread pizza(delicious) was only $12. The reason why I gave four stars instead of five was that there were some staff members that justseemed to be doing absolutely nothing except for being a distraction while there were others that were working hard cleaningevery surface in the restaurant or serving tables. On a high note: Longfellow Grill has a fantastic patio and we're lookingforward to when they have it open... hopefully very soon!
We had a great server and overall good food. The grilled cheese with the tomato chutney was a game changer for me, I loved it and the little shot glass of soup. Fish and chips were good as expected. I don't have any complaints, just felt things seemedkind of generic on the overall menu selection. I hope to come back in the summer to experience the patio!
