There was an Indian woman working there who looked at me with disgust while I was trying to place my order. It was my first time at the restaurant, and I was just trying to order—nothing more. I'm not sure if she had a problem with people who looked like me, but her reaction really left an impression. Even my companion noticed her behavior. I can't help but wish she's facing some struggles in her life now. It was clear to me that she held some prejudices, and to make things worse, the drink she made for me didn't taste right.

Today, I parked with valet service on Fulton Street and walked over to get a smoothie around 2 PM (12/19/19) since I had some free time before my doctor’s appointment. Unfortunately, Jamba Juice was closed with no notice posted. I understand it might be winter break or finals week, which can lead to schedule changes, but it was still disappointing. I remember it closing unexpectedly back when I was a student as well.

Despite having four or five employees on duty, it... read more The food at Jamba is excellent, but the staff frequently appears disorganized and uncertain about their roles. Despite having four or five employees on duty, it often feels like only one person is handling all the shakes and other orders. I ended up waiting around 20 minutes for my drink. This Jamba location could greatly benefit from better organization, as the team seems to be working without clear guidance.

I went by at 12:30 on a Tuesday, only to find it closed, which is puzzling during typical hours. If you do get a chance to visit when Jamba is open, keep in mind that the menu is great, but sometimes customers who arrive after you might receive their smoothies first.
