Hen House Eatery - Minneapolis
Hen House Eatery
Description
This breakfast and brunch spot is a popular choice with a lively atmosphere. While the food is deemed okay and tastes better after a few Mimosas, it is mentioned that it can be under seasoned. The staff is friendly, but could use some additional training as orders seemed to confuse them. Some highlights include the delicious food, variety of bakery items, and efficient service experienced by diners. There is a mix of classic comfort food, fresh omelettes, and indulgent pastries to choose from, with shorter wait times than expected. While the mimosas may be a disappointment for some, the overall experience seems to be positive with delicious options on the menu and great service.

The food is absolutely fantastic if you get a chance everything on the menu looked good. Plus the bakery items are amazing. The service was super fast and very nice and friendly. Close to hotels and lots of amenities. Seven out of five stars. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section
Place has good food! Taste was perfect! Ordered veggie omelet with avocado and topped it with hollandaise sauce and salsa verda. Also, French toast and chicken and waffles! Atmosphere is busy but not overly loud and service was great. Will return in visiting the area again. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
First off, this place deserves the stellar reviews. we got seated very quickly despite the number of people, and were given the option of eating outside or inside. despite being packed, service was quick. they brought us some waters quite quickly, asked us if we wanted any drinks. we got some rolls, which are as good as people say. however, they were definitely quite a lot bigger than I thought photo for scale. for context I have quite large hands). for like $6.50 I think, I forget the exact price) I was surprised. once we ordered our actual food, it came out pretty quickly Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes
Great place! Super service. My only issue was that my over medium eggs weren’t done, the whites were not cooked. Other than that, everything was really good. The Chorizo breakfast bowl was good, but the chorizo had a different flavor, not necessarilybad, just not what we’re used to. They also had a bakery case so we got carrot cake and coconut delight, to go, both of thosewere delicious as well!
My first time here. I’ll definitely visit again. Went around 7am. Everyone was pleasant and the food was delicious. I love banana nut bread so went with the banana nut french toast. My friend had the pancakes. I had some chicken sausage links whichwere good. We had some orange juices and coffee to go. The inside was great. Bar area, outside, and inside seating. They selltheir own plants and T-shirt’s as well as other things. Great establishment.
