While the food and atmosphere impress many customers, issues arise with the waitstaff and service consistency. The menu can be hit or miss, especially for vegans. Some guests enjoy the savory dishes and fun options, while others find the experience disappointing and lacking in taste. Customer service quality varies, with some diners encountering rude or inattentive staff. Despite these mixed reviews, the restaurant remains a popular choice for its location and selection of meat dishes. Guests can expect a vibrant, bustling atmosphere with occasional service hiccups.
Tried two appetizers and didn’t have to order a meal, plenty of good and different food
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Erik the Red’s last night. Their hospitality and service was AMAZING! They were sooooooo generous and compt us an amazing amount. Also, if you haven’t tried their cheese curds with lingonberry sauce...go immediately! I’m from Wisconsin where we take our cheese curds seriously...these are some of the best I ever had!!!Also their cream onion gravy on the Swedish meatballs was amazing
We've dined here a handful of times. The quality of the food has seemed to decrease over time. Additionally this time we noticed a note at the bottom of the menu stating a wellness charge will be added to all checks... Seriously? Quite the turn off..
Great place to view Vikings away games with fellow fans
Waitress was mistaken about her some food offerings and they were out of one item we had wanted to order. Busy place
