Was John O'Neill at Cuzzy's a mag?
This is an excellent bar in the North Loop. The walls are adorned with dollar bills, and there's a charming vintage neon sign outside. It's a fantastic spot to grab a beer. View all feedback.

What April Gentling dislikes about Cuzzy's:
Cuzzy's is a classic bar covered in dollar bills on the walls. It’s not fancy or trendy, but it’s also cleaner than your typical dive. If you’re looking for something a bit different, it’s definitely worth a visit. The hours can be confusing, and weekend lines get extremely long, so it’s best to go at off-peak times. This place is a classic dive bar, the food really impressed though.

It's a total dive, but the food is really good! The legend contains ghost stories. The staff here is amazing!! meter parking only now that the N Loop is popular. Not open on Sundays, fyi.

A classic bar with dollar bills posted all over it. It's not fancy, it's not swanky, and it's too clean to be a dive. That said, you should definitely give it a try if you're looking for something new. I never really sure what the hours are, and there's a ridiculously long line on the weekend so skip it.

This bar is great for those in their late 20s and early 30s, but I wouldn't recommend it for those who have just turned 21. It's quite crowded, and there's often a line to get in. Once you're inside, it can feel a bit cramped, with people standing close together like sardines. There's not much dancing happening here. However, it's a nice spot if you're just looking to enjoy drinks and have conversations rather than a typical party atmosphere.

When we received our bill, we were taken aback to find a $5.00 charge for what was essentially a small bowl of fruit—just a few grapes, a couple of orange slices, and a few bites of pineapple. We believe our server should have informed us that the substitution would come with such a steep price; had we been aware, we would have chosen to forgo the side altogether. Nevertheless, we still tipped 20% because we genuinely enjoy this restaurant, and the food and service are typically exceptional.
