They partner with the nonprofit organization Appetite for Change to help nourish the community. I tried the chicken and waffles, which is their signature dish, and it was absolutely amazing! The fried chicken was juicy and spicy, perfectly resting on a fluffy and sweet Belgian waffle—hands down the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. I also sampled the lunch special featuring BBQ brisket, cheesy mac and cheese, and black-eyed peas—truly delicious classic soul food. The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate about their work. I can’t wait to visit again! Fantastic food and a fantastic mission.

If I’m ever in Minneapolis again, I'll definitely make a point to visit. They even incorporate produce grown by local youth in community gardens. This place is bringing people together and making a positive impact in the neighborhood!
