Decided to vacation in Minneapolis with my Fiancé for the night and decided to try this hole-in-the-wall and let me tell ya, the food IS phenomenal. We tried the nori crusted bavette, frog legs and stringozzi. Everything was just SOOO GOOD. I don't typically like pastas or marina sauce but I tried some and it was addicting. Their bavette was to die for. I'm coming back!!! View all feedback.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere is cozy and chic. The octopus dish may sound adventurous, but it tastes like the best seafood you can imagine! We also tried the tagliatelle with foie gras and the stringozzi with lamb sugo, both of which were delightful. For those who love Cafe Latte's tres leches, try a piece here and you won't be disappointed!
I am a fan of the 112 from way back but haven't been here in 3-4 years...I was not disappointed. Our server was attentive, including asking if he should be aware of any later engagement we might have (indeed we were headed to a show after). We tookthe route of sharing small plates. Scallops, octopus, lamb and carrots with marscapone all had something unique in theirpreparation and presentation. When we couldn't decide on dessert, our server recommended the chocolate espresso mousse torte...It's been a while since I've had anything quite that dreamy. Well-balanced in terms of richness and textures and a side ofwhipped marscapone was a nice touch. All in all, our experience was a lovely start to an evening downtown. ??
I love 112. I have always loved 112. I sat at the bar and enjoyed gnocchi, a White Russian, the 112 burger, and two other drinks whose names I can't remember!

Absolutely fantastic eating with a cozy and chic atmosphere! the Oktopus menu may sound like an adventure, but it tastes like the best seafood you can imagine! we also tried the tagliatelle with foie gras and the strozzi with lamb sugo (pasta with ground lamb and tomato sauce) — wonderful gifts for the taste buds! for those who live in the twin cities and think how I that cafe latte has the best tres leches in the city, try a piece tres leches back here and they will be latte!
