appropriate portions, several options! the curry tofu was my favorite. very tasteful. I would recommend adding avocado because it can run dry without a vegan pate replacement of my opinion. updated by the previous review on 2022 03 31 View all feedback.
What aclark24 doesn't like about Lu's Sandwiches 6th St:
The spring rolls were hard on half of the outsides and the greens were wilted on the inside. I took one or two bites before I was done with the spring rolls. Unoffensive but flavorless bahn mi (with tofu, not mock duck) until I bit into the cilantro bunches and that was tasty. Next time I’ll try the mock duck if I try this place again. View all feedback.
Tried the tofu sandwich, no mayo, add avocado. Tofu was flavorful and had a nice firm texture. Pickled veggies were great. Like another reviewer said, I would order double veggies next time. I thought the bread was alright, thought it was a little on the dry side. Would be 5 stars if they had vegan mayo as an option.

I came here for a bahn mi, which is hard to find vegan in the cities. The tofu had a great firm texture and good seasonings, and the sandwich was super filling, I got two meals out of it. There could have been double the veggies, but I’m sure I could have asked for that. I did bring my own mayo to get the full experience. My husband is a super picky vegetarian eater with texture issues, and he didn’t like that the mock duck is half mushrooms (didn’t say that on the online menu before we stopped).
I came for a train mi that is hard to find vegan in the cities. The tofu had a great solid texture and good spices, and the sandwich was super filling, I got two meals out of it. There could have been twice as many vegetables, but I'm sure I would have asked. I brought my own Mayo to get the full experience. My husband is a super picky vegetarian with texture problems, and he didn't like the Mock Ente being half fungus (not saying that on the online menu before we stopped).
Add the tofu sandwich, no Mayo, avocado. Tofu was tasteful and had a beautiful solid texture. Well-kept vegetables were great. As another reviewer said, the next time I would order double vegetables. I thought the bread was fine, thought it was something on the dry side. Would be 5 stars if they were vegan Mayo as an option.
